1. Add Your Logo and Brand Colors
Make CoSMOS look like your business.
Where to go: Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard → Settings → Company Profile
Steps:
- Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard
- Click Settings in the left menu
- Go to the Branding section
- Click the logo box to upload your business logo
- Use the color sliders to pick your brand colors
- Primary Color: Main color for buttons and highlights
- Secondary Color: Extra color for menus and badges
- Click Save Changes
Logo Tips:
- Use a square image (200x200 pixels works well)
- Keep file size under 2MB
- Use a clear, easy-to-see logo
- PNG or JPG files work best
2. Set Your Currency and Time
Keep everything in your local format.
Where to go: Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard → Settings → Company Profile
Steps:
- Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard
- Click Settings and go to Company Profile
- Find the regional settings:
- Currency: Pick your currency (USD, KES, ZAR, etc.)
- Time Zone: Set your local time
- Date Format: Choose how dates look
- Time Format: 12-hour or 24-hour clock
- Click Save Changes
3. Set Up PIN Login for Cashiers
Make register access quick and easy.
Where to go: Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard → Settings → My Profile
Steps:
- Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard
- Click Settings, then click My Profile
- Find the security section
- Type your current password to verify
- Make a 4-digit PIN (don't use something too simple!)
- Type the PIN again to confirm
- Click Enable PIN

Using Your PIN:
- Open the installed app
- Click the login screen
- Type your 4-digit PIN
- You're in! Quick and easy.
4. Advanced Settings
For businesses with special needs.
Where to go: Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard → Settings → Company Profile
Show Advanced Order Modes:
- Turn on for complex supply operations
- Adds extra checkout options
- Good for big companies or institutions
Notification Settings:
Where to go: Access the sidebar navigation on the left of the dashboard → Settings → Notifications
Choose how you want to be told about things:
- Email: For important reports and alerts
- SMS: For urgent notifications
- Browser: Pop-up notifications in your browser

- Low stock warnings

Quick Tips
- Use a clear logo that looks good even when small
